One of the seniors at my school, Lucy Van Dalen, was named America East Women’s Track Athlete of the Week! “Stony Brook’s Lucy Van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand/Wanganui College) picked up where she left off last year bolting to a victory in the mile run at the Yale Season Opener. Her time of 4:36.90 automatically qualified her for the NCAA Championships and it is the fastest mile time in the nation by almost 25 seconds.”
